Effective date: September 22, 2026
SparkSprout is a learning app for children, used by parents and guardians on their children’s behalf. Use it for its intended purpose, keep your account secure, and we’ll do our best to keep it running well. If something goes wrong, email us before anything else.
SparkSprout is operated by SparkSprout LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“we”, “us”). You can reach us any time at support@sparksprout.app.
Accounts belong to parents and legal guardians who are at least 18 years old. Children do not create accounts and never provide information to us directly — a parent sets up each child profile.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account, including your children’s use of the app. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
Please don’t:
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, and we’ll tell you why when we do.
SparkSprout offers a free tier and a paid subscription. Paid plans renew automatically for the period you selected until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, or through the App Store if you subscribed there; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
If you believe you were charged in error, email us and we will look into it. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under their policies.
Your family’s account information and learning activity belong to you. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
The app itself — its software, design, word and problem sets, and branding — belongs to SparkSprout LLC. Your subscription gives your family permission to use it, not ownership of it.
SparkSprout is a practice tool built on spaced repetition. It is not a substitute for classroom instruction, a diagnostic assessment, or professional educational advice. We don’t promise any particular learning outcome, test result, or grade level.
The service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it available and accurate, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features over time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SparkSprout LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we’ll notify account holders by email and update the effective date above. Continuing to use SparkSprout after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Questions about these terms go to legal@sparksprout.app. Anything else — billing, bugs, a stuck streak — support@sparksprout.app.
